An award winning defense trial firm, Adams & Heald, a Professional Corporation, was founded in 1985. Adams & Heald concentrates its practice in the areas of insurance and corporate defense. Members of the firm have tried hundreds of personal injury and insurance coverage cases in the state and federal courts of East and Southeast Texas, including Beaumont, Dallas, Galveston, and Houston, and the firm also handles cases in Western Louisiana. The firm routinely handles appeals in the Texas and federal appellate courts.

The firm's primary practice includes personal injury defense, products' liability, toxic tort, admiralty, medical malpractice, intellectual property and technology law, Superfund and hazardous waste, commercial, construction, governmental liability, automobile, premises liability, and general litigation defense.  The firm also has significant experience in the area of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, and governmental relations.  The firm represents businesses and individuals in their commercial transactions.

Kent Adams and Russell Heald are Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specializations. Both are rated “AV” by Martindale Hubbell. Kent Adams successfully tried the Bryant and Shackelford toxic tort cases in 2002, winning a defense verdict that was recognized by the National Law Journal as one of the “Top Ten Defense Verdicts in the United States in 2002.” Adams & Heald, P.C. has handled the defense of numerous multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant toxic tort cases.
